Marching Band

The Chaparral High School Wolverine Marching Band offers a diverse range of musical experiences for students. From learning to march in precision to performing at high-energy events, our marching band program is designed to foster discipline, teamwork, and musical excellence. Students participate in football games, various parades, events, trips, and competitions that are a part of the Colorado Bandmasters Association (CBA).

Symphonic Band

Welcome to the Symphonic Band! As our lower-level concert band, we focus on nurturing your musical skills and fostering a love for instrumental performance. While prior experience is recommended, it's not mandatory—everyone is encouraged to join and grow together in a supportive environment. 

Wind Ensemble

Welcome to the Wind Ensemble, our premier concert band for dedicated musicians. Prior experience is essential, as students are expected to show a heightened commitment to their craft. Our focus is on developing comprehensive musicianship, ensuring that each member hones their skills and contributes to the ensemble's excellence. 

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band brings energy, creatiity, and groove to our music program. From classic swing to modern funk, students learn the art of improvisation while performing exciting music at concerts and special events.

Winter Percussion

Our Winter Percussion Program is a competitive indoor ensemble that combines music, movement, and visual design into a powerful performance experience. This group competes throughout the winter and spring months at the regional and state level of the RMPA circuit.

Winter Guard

The Winter Guard ensemble is a group in which students can showcase their talents from November until the State Championships in March/April. This exciting group is open to all interested in participating, regardless of experience. Competing in the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association, you'll have the chance to be part of a dynamic team and create unforgettable performances.
